The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology held a symposium for manufacturing enterprises.

In accordance with the arrangements of the State Council, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has established a regular communication mechanism with manufacturing enterprises to actively provide services and create a favorable environment for the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry. On July 6th, the Secretary of the Party Group and Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Jin Zhuanglong, presided over a symposium with manufacturing enterprises to carefully listen to their business situations, issues, demands, and suggestions, and conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges to promote the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry and ensure the stable operation of the industry. The Deputy Secretary of the Party Group and Vice Minister, Xin Guobin, attended the meeting.

During the meeting, ten key enterprise representatives from fields such as electronics, petrochemicals, iron and steel, equipment manufacturing, automotive, food, and light industry and textiles delivered key speeches. They focused on their own companies, the industry, and the global perspective, and discussed the situation, development, and issues. They put forward practical, timely, and targeted suggestions on stabilizing manufacturing investment, expanding consumption and exports, accelerating the development of new tracks, strengthening key core technology research, and promoting high-end, intelligent, and green development in the manufacturing industry. Nine other enterprise representatives also participated in the discussions.

Jin Zhuanglong stated that the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China attaches great importance to the development of the manufacturing industry. The 20th National Congress of the Party proposed achieving basic modernization by 2035. General Secretary Xi Jinping has repeatedly emphasized the need to consolidate the manufacturing industry and accelerate the construction of a manufacturing powerhouse. After the establishment of the new government, a strong signal supporting the development of the manufacturing industry, especially advanced manufacturing, has been sent out. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will thoroughly implement the decisions and arrangements of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council, target the requirements of the new industrialization, focus on high-end, intelligent, and green development, and accelerate the transformation of 'Made in China' to 'Created in China,' 'China Speed' to 'China Quality,' and 'Chinese Products' to 'Chinese Brands.' The Ministry will wholeheartedly act as the 'family' of manufacturing enterprises, establish a regular communication mechanism, strengthen policy support and service guarantee, and help enterprises solve practical difficulties, creating a favorable environment for enhancing core competitiveness and building world-class enterprises.

Entrepreneurs attending the symposium expressed confidence in the sustained and positive trend of China's industrial economy and pledged to deepen their efforts in the manufacturing industry. They will vigorously promote the spirit of entrepreneurship, be pioneers, organizers, and leaders in innovation and development, strengthen self-discipline in maintaining fair market competition order, and strive to move towards the high-end of the global industrial chain, optimize, strengthen and expand the real economy. They will actively contribute to the new industrialization and the construction of a manufacturing powerhouse.

Officials from relevant departments of the Ministry also attended the symposium.
